1994 studio album by Richard Marx

Paid vacation is the fourth studio album of an American singer / songwriter Richard Marx, released in 1994

The album features "Now and forever", Marx's ninth and last Top 10 hit in the US. Billboard Hot 100: and the most successful single on: Modern Adult Spreadsheet. It was given as a lead single for the album and stayed on top Billboard 11 hours in a row A / C chart. The single "The Way He Loves Me" was followed by a single Billboard, reaching the Top 20 on the Hot 100 and hitting No. 3 on modern day adult radio.(6)

However, the album itself was less successful than its previous efforts. When doing charting in the US for 23 weeks. Billboard 200, Paid vacation only reached No. 37 and could not climb higher than its predecessor Rushi Street (No. 35).(6) However, he got his fourth successor Platinum certification from: American Recording Industry Association At the end of 1994. The album sold well worldwide, especially in Japan's Aponia, securing Marx his first gold record in that country.

The album was dedicated to Marx's wife at the time Cynthia Rhodes and sons Brandon, Lucas, and Essex Mark.
