As a performer, songwriter and producer, Richard Marx's nearly three-decade career has had countless hints. The Chicago native has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide since his self-titled debut, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It also produced four of the top five singles, including "Keep Up the Nights" charts and "Don't Set Nothing", which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal. Further, the 1989 repetition of The Criminal was even more successful, hitting No. 1 and going to platinum with two "1" singles "Good" and "Right Here Waiting."
