Winter has returned to spread some la-la-la-la all of Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

There are many ways to celebrate the holidays this month, including holiday lights, boat parades, music, carol songs and concerts. In addition, of course, a lot of Santa Claus shows.

Edison and Ford Vacation Nights. The 44th annual celebration returns to Edison and Ford Winter Estates. The winter homes, gardens and historic buildings of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford are adorned with thousands of lights and ornaments. Other sights include holiday tourists strolling the grounds, Santa Claus (selected nights), and tours. Tree Goodwill Festival. The 13th Annual Tree Festival features unique decorated trees and wreaths loaded with gifts. Trees and wreaths, valued at $ 1,500 to $ 2,000, have been collected to benefit Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. New this year. Holiday Festival of Lights. The annual event draws thousands of people on vacation to enjoy fun activities, photos with Santa Claus and the city's official Christmas tree lighting. Fort Myers Beach Boat Parade. The 31st Annual Night Parade begins at 6pm.
